The Orchestre National du Capitole offers you a season designed to help younger generations and the music lovers of tomorrow discover and enjoy classical music:
These concerts, which are specially designed for primary schoolchildren, will offer them an opportunity to learn about the symphony orchestra. Each of them is tailored to the child’s ability to concentrate and there is an introduction beforehand.
As part of the in-depth educational work, put together and carried out on a multidisciplinary basis, most of the orchestra’s rehearsals are open to young people from schools. Before each of them there is an introduction to the work given by our talented composer in residence, Karol Beffa.
Tugan Sokhiev and the musicians of the Orchestre are specially opening the doors of the Halle aux Grains free of charge to Toulouse’s many students.
From Sunday 16th to Saturday 22nd November 2008, the Orchestre National du Capitole will be reaching out to all the people of Toulouse.
The musicians of the Orchestre National du Capitole and the talented young conductor Stamatia Karampini are offering people the chance to hear some of Mozart’s most beautiful works for the first time. These concerts will also be taking place in various parts of Toulouse, and will allow all the people of Toulouse to find out about both classical music and the musicians of the Orchestre du Capitole.
Details of all of the programmes will be available during September.
